Hello, I'm Selim. I graduated from the European University of Lefke with a degree in Information Systems and Technology(English). My web development journey began about 3 years ago when I was introduced to WordPress for a club project. The technical curiosity sparked during that time led me to focus on modern FullStack architectures.

I laid the foundation of my career during an IT internship at Antalya Water and Wastewater Administration (ASAT), where I had the chance to experience the digital processes and operations of a corporate institution. Since then, I have dedicated myself to building scalable applications, especially using modern technologies like Next.js, Hono, Turborepo, and Expo.

Initially, I kept my distance from AI code generation. However, over time, I turned the process to my advantage by positioning it as an 'assistant' rather than a 'code writer'. Today, I use AI as a resource and speed booster in the backend architectures I develop; but I maintain my engineering discipline by taking responsibility for every line of code produced, personally inspecting critical layers such as data validation, security, and CORS configurations.

I aim to master the entire system by not just staying at the software layer but also working on infrastructure and the Ubuntu serversI manage. My current main focus is to combine my Fullstack experience with Network architecturesto create a holistic engineering vision, becoming an expert in every layer of the system.
